Making A Pathway was a project aiming to guide young people towards a promising future. It contained a basic educational component, as well as other means to foster positivity.

About a year ago, I began to learn hand-lettering and to venture into more illustration (sometimes digitizing my efforts). Even when working purely for myself, it allows me to experiment and to continue learning about color, composition, and hierarchy.

Thoughtful Psychiatry offers the convenience and whole-person approach of both medication and counseling services. It seeks to set itself apart in this regard.

The goal of the logo was to communicate careful consideration, support, and professionalism.

Given that many of Thoughtful Psychiatry's clients suffer from anxiety, I chose soothing colors for the palette.

The practice's founder, Jeffrey Lucero, wanted photos of the office location on the website in order to make it personal rather than generic.

Boston Aikikai, a martial arts school in Hyde Park, needed a new website which would appeal to younger people and folks from diverse backgrounds, abilities, and gender identities.

I worked closely with current members on the design and organization. The new site includes a mission statement, testimonials from members of different ages and genders, and an Instagram section.

The colors of the website were taken from the traditional indigo of the hakama (worn by black belts), and a popular gold chosen for its embroidery.

The dojo occasionally hosts workshops for its community in other disciplines. This was a poster for a yoga event.

Ikebana is the traditional Japanese art of flower-arranging. The text on this poster is grouped into three areas, reflecting the aesthetic of three points symbolizing humankind, earth, and sky.

Wilson Pedrazas is a professional violinist originally from Peru. He wanted a website that would spotlight some of the prestigious theaters where he has performed, such as the Teatro Municipal in Rio de Janeiro.

The hero image consists of a slice of the aforementioned Teatro Municipal in Rio, from which I took the color palette. Please feel free to visit the site.

I enjoy the creative challenge of designing logos: working with the client as a team, bouncing ideas off of each other, getting to a place where neither could have arrived separately.

The client wanted a 70's feel. The pink color is reminiscent of bubble gum, calling to mind simultaneously the stretchiness of liquid glass, and 'deliciousness.'
